Exit M6 Junction 36 and head for Kendal (8 miles). Keep on A591 (avoid south Kendal). At the roundabout north of Kendal, head for Crook on the B5284 (3 miles). Take the first left after passing the Sun Inn. At the next junction turn left. The lane to Crook Hall is about ½ mile on the right. Go up the hill and then turn right again.
